Here, you can find out what’s on, hire the Hall, discover the Hall’s history or contact us for more information.
St. Edward’s Hall stands in the Square of the Cotswold town of Stow on the Wold. It was built in 1878 from unclaimed money placed in the Town Savings Bank and numerous generous gifts to provide the town with a meeting place.
The Hall can be hired for a variety of uses; which currently include fitness classes, craft fairs, clothing sales and charity and community events.
On the walls of the Hall is a collection of portraits dating from the Civil War, bequeathed to the people of Stow by Captain Christie Crawfurd in 1931. Private tours of the paintings can be arranged by emailing chair@stedwardshall.org.uk or administrator@stedwardshall.org.uk.
